Lucknow: The echo of the Ahmedabad serial bomb blast case has now reached the UP elections as well. Earlier, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that a terrorist's family was linked to the Samajwadi Party (SP), while today Union Minister Anurag Thakur accused Akhilesh of promoting terror. Anurag Thakur said during the press conference that Akhilesh has decided to save the terrorists.

The Union Minister further said that whenever there is talk of terrorism, BJP adopts the policy of zero tolerance. Whereas the attitude of SP remains cooperative. He has alleged that the wires of the culprits of Ahmedabad blast are directly connecting with the SP leaders. Even after the order of the court, there has been no reaction from the SP leader and the party. In such a situation, questions arise on the protection given by the SP to the terrorists. In fact, it is being told that the father of Mohammad Saif, one of the terrorists who got the death sentence in the Ahmedabad blasts, is a SP leader.

Attacking the SP, Anurag Thakur said that the SP has made Azamgarh a fort of terrorists. They don't have faith in STF and police. Terrorists are given protection in the SP government because of the politics of appeasement. He further said that SP is the first party in the country, which had announced in its election manifesto in 2012 that as soon as the government is formed, all the cases registered against terrorists will be withdrawn and cases will be registered against the policemen. Anurag Thakur told that those who carried out the bomb blasts in Lucknow and Ayodhya were released by Akhilesh. Akhilesh had left the terrorists as soon as the government was formed in 2013, on which the court took cognizance.
