The trailer of Disney and Pixar's original sci-fi action-adventure 'Lightyear' was released today (February 8). But now news has come out that the story of this movie, which is to be released on June 17, 2022, is being made on the story of Buzz Lightyear, whose protagonist inspires the toy. In fact, he goes on an adventurous space journey and also becomes a Space Ranger. Director Angus MacLaine says that Buzz's world was like this, it always encouraged me.

He has further said that the Toy Story movie seems to be the back part of this story, in which the hero has now become the Space Ranger. Toy Story just touched on this story, but I've always wanted to explore this world more. My story was based on Lightyear. Andy had prepared for a similar movie, which should have sounded like a Lightyear toy. I also wanted to see that movie. I am lucky to have got the opportunity to make it.

Not to mention, in this sci-fi film, young Buzz is voiced by Chris Evans, who was a longtime Disney co-star as the former Captain America. With which Peter Sohn voices Buzz's robot companion, Sox. Annie Award-winning director and veteran Pixar animator Angus MacLaine, who co-directed 2016's "Finding Dory," directed the movie "Lightyear." The film is scheduled to release in theaters on June 17 this year.
