Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starrer 'Phillauri' opened well at the box office. The small budgeted film managed to collect INR 3.50-3.75 crore nett approx on its first day.

The film comparatively did well in East Punjab and Delhi and the credit goes to ofcourse Diljit's popularity in the North. While talking about Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru, the figures of collection are unexpectedly disappointing. It is expected that Anushka and Diljit's chemistry which has been appreciated by the audience will help to grow the film in weekends especially in Mumbai and Delhi sector.

To have a decent weekend, it need growth of around 40% today.
