The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, earned roughly Rs 4 crores nett on its debut day at the Indian box office. The film plummeted on the second day as it faced a major competitor in the form of Adipurush, which opened to very strong figures on its first day. With the second day expected to be at Rs 2.75 crores, The Flash's two-day total in India is at Rs 6.75 crores nett.

The Flash will see a little improvement throughout the weekend, with the goal of matching the opening day numbers. If Saturday and Sunday perform as projected, The Flash's extended weekend in India will be worth roughly Rs 14 - 15 crores nett. Of course, they are below-average figures, but one can't complain when a local blockbuster is by far the most popular movie choice for the weekend.

DC films have been rapidly losing market share, with the most recent Shazam movie barely breaking the Rs 10 crore India nett a limit. When the cinematic universe is underperforming, every film affiliated with it underperforms as well. Marvel films have also had a difficult time in India, although their fandom is far larger than that of DC films. Fast X is the highest-grossing Hollywood picture in India this year, with well over Rs 100 crores. The Flash is predicted to have a global opening in the range of 140 million dollars, with the international cume exceeding the domestic cume. The film's current forecasts are that it will gross between 350 and 400 million dollars in its whole run, which is relatively low.
