Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the Pulwama terror attack today, saying that the perpetrators of the attack have committed a grave mistake and that they will pay a big price for this. The prime minister was speaking at the launch of the semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express.

While he addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is grieving but it is also angry. He said he sympathises with the anger that the nation is feeling after the attack.He said "The anger that is seething in the nation after the attack, the people's blood is boiling, I understand it".

Further he said that the forces have been given full freedom to retaliate against the attack. He said, "I pay tribute to soldiers who lost their lives in Pulwama Attack. Our security forces have been given full freedom. We have full faith in their bravery." The prime minister also warned terror groups, saying that they have made a big mistake. PM Modi said "I want to tell terror groups and their supporters that they have made a big mistake. I want to assure the nation that those behind this attack will definitely be punished",.

PM Modi took aim at Pakistan too, saying that the nation has committed a big mistake, "If our neighbour who is totally isolated in the world thinks it can destabilise India through its tactics and conspiracies, then it is making a big mistake."
