The actress wrote in her instagram story, She wrote, "Me and my sisters are literally the first women in our entire family who are living outside their city alone, working, earning. We are the first women to break the generational curse, we are the first women who make their own decisions. We are the first women in our family to decide for ourselves what we wanna do with our lives.”

Earlier a FIR also filed against her, Urfi javed also reacted to this FIR and said, "I don’t know how many more police complaints against me! Wow. I am amazed how people have no problem, or any kind of objection against people who openly threaten to rape me, kill me. You have a problem with me because of my clothes but not with men who rape and murder.” Urfi also shared a video of her wearing an orange strapped dress with striped design and wrote, "This is me in a restaurant, please use this video as evidence in court (my only request)." The video features the song, 'tujhko mirchi lagi toh mai kya karu?' 

On the work front, Urfi Javed appeared in various television programs as an actor. Durga, Saat Phere Ki Hera Pheri, Bepanna, Jiji Maa, Dayan, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Kasauti Zindagi Kay are just a few of the popular shows in which she has appeared as an actor.  The actress is currently featuring in Splitvilla.
