Lucknow: Police in UP's Gautam Budh Nagar district on Saturday arrested the man who was guilty of killing his girlfriend. The police have detained him near the Tilapata roundabout. The accused has been identified as Sushil Kumar. He is 33 years old and police have also seized the car used in the crime from the criminal Sushil Kumar.

What is the whole case: The criminal Sushil Kumar was living in a live-in relationship with the deceased Sapna. On September 15, 2021, accused Sushil Kumar started having an argument with Sapna over partying. The culprit Sushil Kumar assaulted Sapna and then strangulated her to death. The criminal Sushil Kumar is engaged in completing the whole to locate the body of his girlfriend Sapna. He folded Sapna's legs and packed her body in a white sack. After which he put the sack in the car and threw it in the canal near Kot village.

On September 25, 2021, after about 10 days of committing the crime, criminal  Sushil Kumar took the mobile phone of the deceased near his village and switched it on. He sent a message to the deceased's brother so that the family members of the deceased thought that he was alive and do not doubt him. Not only that, the accused Sushil Kumar had gone to the house of the deceased on October 7, 2021. There he took his girlfriend Sapna's mother into confidence and lodged a missing report at the Sulempur police station in Bulandshahr so that the family and the police would not suspect him.
