Priyanshu Chatterjee became an overnight actor in the movie Tum Bin released in 2001. The story and dialogue of the film used to be on the tongue of the youth. Anubhav Sinha's movie Tum Bin was released on 13 July 2001. The chemistry of Priyanshu Chatterjee and Sandali Sinha was seen in the movie.

After the release of the movie, Priyanshu said in an interview that her girls became very fan. He had said, 'After the release of the film, it became difficult for me to get out of the auto and go to the mall. My female fans used to be around me to touch me.' Well, after the movie Tum Bin, Priyanshu appeared in the film 'Dil Ka Rishta' alongside Aishwarya Rai, but the film did not do well. After this, Priyanshu's career was eclipsed.
