Harda: A Class 10 girl was allegedly molested by the principal of a model school in Chaukri village of Madhya Pradesh's Harda district, police said on Sunday. It is said that the criminal had called the student in the name of an extra class. After receiving the complaint, the police registered a case against the culprit principal Shabir Khan under the molestation and POCSO Act. Seven students of the school reached the police station and complained about the principal.

According to the police, Shabir Khan, the principal of the model school in the Chowkdi of Harda in Madhya Pradesh, molested the students of the school. Seven girls studying in the school approached the Chhipabad police station on Tuesday and lodged a complaint against the principal. After the complaint of the students, the police immediately registered a case and caught the culprit teacher from his house. After taking him into custody, the principal was interrogated and produced before the court, from where he has been sent to jail.

A class X girl studying in the school has filed a complaint against the principal, Shabir Khan. In the complaint, the student stated that on December 31, 2022, before the start of the examination, she went to school with other girls for extra classes. During this, Shabir Khan, a teacher who teaches mathematics, molested her. Didn't say this to anyone out of fear. After this, on January 2, other students told that the teacher had touched them badly earlier also. Chhipabad police station in-charge Sunil Yadav said that after the complaint, the police reached the model school and talked to the students and their families. Subsequently, the statements of the students were recorded in the presence of a woman police officer. Following the complaint of the students, a case has been registered against the concerned teacher under Section 354 and POCSO Act. A letter has been written against the teacher for suspension action.
