Meerut: Former MLA and BJP leader fired on the occasion of Diwali by his licenced gun. The BJP leader also asked his son to make a video of firing. The video is going viral on social media. The case is reported from Hastinapur in Meerut, UP. Former Hastinapur MLA and BJP leader Gopal Kali took out his licensed pistol with the excuse of firecrackers being banned on Deepawali and came out of his residence and started firing.
According to the information received, the former MLA's son made a video of the firing. In this regard, Inspector Ganganagar Bijendra Pal Rana said that the entire video was thoroughly investigated. This video is of Ganganagar D-Block, the residence of former MLA.
Taking action, a lawsuit has been filed against former MLA Gopal Kali under Section 336 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25 (9) of the Ordnance Act. Action will be taken to revoke their arms license.
