The procession had come from a village under Yogapatti police station area of Bettiah. The name of the groom is said to be Sarvesh Shukla. No case has been registered in the police station in this regard. It is being said that the groom is having an affair with a married woman. That's why he refused to marry. The bride's side says that before the wedding, they had given Rs 12 lakh in cash to the groom's side. Apart from this, about 7 to 8 lakh rupees were spent on the day of the wedding. The bride's family members are very sad because of the breakdown of the marriage.
