In the last 24 hours, 725 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Mizoram and one patient died of the virus. At the same time, the total number of virus cases in Mizoram is 29,020. So far, 126 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus. At the same time, 22,061 patients have recovered from corona and returned home while 6,833 persons are undergoing treatment. This was stated by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of Mizoram.

A 7-day full lockdown has been imposed in Mizoram's capital Aizawl to ensure that the situation does not worsen in the same corona cases. While the virus cases in Mizoram were on an average of 55 in April, they increased to 202 in May and reached 381 in the first week of July. In Mizoram, restrictions were relaxed two weeks ago, after which corona cases suddenly increased.

Like Mizoram, a corona curfew has been imposed in Manipur for 10 days from today. Curfew has been imposed across the state from today till July 27 with relaxation in some essential services. Vigilance will now bring relief information in the coming days to protect the north-eastern states from the third wave of coronavirus. At the same time, it will help in preventing the increasing cases of corona in time. Meanwhile, the country has once again registered an increase in daily corona cases amid the possibility of a third wave today.
