New Delhi: 8,774 new cases of covid-19 infection have been reported from across the country today and 621 patients have lost their lives, with the death toll from infection swelling to 4,68,554 in India. The Union Health Ministry said that the active cases of corona virus in the country have now gone up to 1.05 lakh. While it has been revealed that 9481 people have recovered from infections across the country in the last 24 hours, the number of people recovering from corona so far has gone up to 3,39,98,278.

The Health Ministry further said that the total active case figure in the country is currently 1,05,691, which is 0.31 per cent of the total cases. This figure of active cases since March 2020 is very low. On the other hand, the daily positivity rate in the country is 0.80 per cent, which is less than 2 per cent for the last 55 days. While the sold positivity rate is 0.85 per cent, it has remained below 1 percent for 14 days. The Health Ministry has said that the recovery rate in the country has now reached 98.34 percent.

The total vaccination figure in the country is 121.94 crore: According to the information received, more than 121.94 crore doses of covid vaccine have been given in India so far. More than 82,86,058 million people have been vaccinated across the country on Saturday. According to the official report, the total vaccination figure in India has now gone up to 1,21,94,71,134.
