Indeed, the Russia-Ukraine war continues. In such a situation, millions of people are fleeing Ukraine to save their lives. Many Indian students who had gone to study medicine left the war-torn country and took refuge in neighbouring Romania. In this difficult time, the students got emotional seeing the way the people there helped the Indian citizens. The students who returned from Ukraine said that the people of Romania gave us shelter on our worst days. There are shelters being run by local families. The students who fled from Ukraine, hungry, tired, saved their lives, were overwhelmed by the love and care they received from the Romanians.

Nikhil Kumar, a student of Theternopal Medical University in Ukraine, said: "We saw the worst situation when we crossed the Ukraine border. My trust in the others was almost over.
