Indian Navy gets most powerful weapon Kalvari on 8th December

On 8 December 1967, the first submarine Kalvari was inducted into the Indian Navy and retired from the Navy on 31 March 1996 after 30 years of national service. It was named after the dangerous tiger shark found in the Indian Ocean.
