USA: Jeep has recalled up to 57,885 Wrangler SUVs in the US that were produced between October 2019 and May 2022. The affected models might have an unused and unnecessary frame stud, which in the event of a collision could cause fuel to leak and start a fire. Jeep will free of charge inspect every model that has been recalled and replace any defective parts.
Metalsa S.A. de C.V., based in Mexico, constructed the frame studs. Jeep issued a voluntary recall after working with the company to identify the affected models. No accidents or injuries have yet been reported. About 58% of the recalled units, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), may have a faulty stud.
The nearest Jeep dealership should be contacted if you think your Wrangler has defective parts. The specific vehicle identification numbers (VINs) mentioned in the recall documents have not been made public by the company.

Five seats, automatic climate control, USB ports, cruise control, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all included inside. It also receives an ADAS suite and numerous airbags.
