Along with this, Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhalia and Sunil Lahiri shared their old memories with the audience. Along with this, the three stars also revealed how Ramanand Sagar cast them for the serial. With this, Arun Govil, who became Ram in 'Ramayana', told that he was already doing the serial 'Vikram Aur Betal' with Ramanand Sagar. At the same time, when he came to know that Ramanand Sagar was going to make 'Ramayana', he himself went to him and asked him to play Ram. With this, he gave an audition but has been dropped in the first round.

With this, one day Ramanand Sagar got a call and told that he is not getting any for the role of Ram. Apart from this, Arun Govil has got the role of Ram. At the same time, Deepika, who became Sita in 'Ramayana', revealed that 'I was doing' Vikram Aur Betal 'with her during that time. While shooting there, I saw that some children are jumping. Apart from that then I asked what is going on here, then it was told that the casting of Luv-Kush is taking place. One day, Ramanand Sagar got a call that you too come and audition for Sita's role. I told him that I am doing two to three serials with you, even after that I have to take audition. Then Ramanand Sagar said that Sita should feel as if she does not have to introduce her on screen. This is how I got selected after four to five screen tests.

On the other hand, Sunil Lahiri, who plays Laxman, had also worked in 'Vikram Betal' and 'Dadadi Dadi' serials before Ramayan in Ramanand Sagar's camp, and one day Prem Sagar asked for an audition. At the same time, he was selected for Shatrughan in the audition but later he was selected for the role of Laxman. All its characters became so popular with the serial 'Ramayana' that people started believing these actors to be Gods in real life. At the same time, 'Ramayana' was broadcast from January 1987 to July 1988. At that time it was a serial superhit. The serial was broadcast on Sunday morning. When this serial was aired, everyone used to get so busy watching the serial that there was silence on the streets.
