Pete Davidson's appeal received input from Kim Kardashian. During the Oct. 6 episode of The Kardashians, the creator of SKIMS went shopping in Milan with his friends Tracy Romulus, Chris Appleton, and Mario Dedivanovic. What was Kim purchasing? a gift intended for her ex-boyfriend.

Not only did Kim find a present for Pete, but she also gave viewers some perspective on how she felt about the former cast member of Saturday Night Live and his illustrious dating background (which includes Phoebe Dynevor, Ariana Grande, and Kaia Gerber).

"Pete has the best heart," she said during a confessional in the episode. "I feel like people have this like idea of him that he dates all these hot girls. And he does. But he's just the sweetest, most thoughtful person." Kim added, "And I'm here in Milan and thinking about him, so just want to pick up just like a little thoughtful gift."

The 41-year-old took some time choosing the ideal gift. Kim noticed a pair of colorful Nike Air Force 1 sneakers during the program. But she added, "I don't think he's like an Air Force 1 kinda guy." She, therefore, tapped into his heritage and gave him a taste of home in the form of a black and white New York Yankees baseball cap.

Be aware that Kim and Kendall Jenner were in Milan for a Prada fashion show when this Milan clip was shot back in February. And since then, Pete and Kim's nine-month relationship has undergone changes. Kim and Pete split up in August, according to sources close to the couple who spoke exclusively to E! News.

According to insiders at the time, managing their busy schedules while living apart "made it incredibly tough to maintain a relationship."
