BENGALURU: Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra remarked on Friday that the film "The Kashmir Files," which sparked outrage and became a great blockbuster in the state, should be dubbed and released in Kannada as well.

In an interview with reporters, he stated, "We should also comprehend this film. The film has been launched in Hindi and it would be beneficial if it were also released in Kannada." He argued that Article 370 in the state of Jammu and Kashmir should have been repealed long ago. Why didn't the Congress party consider it? The job was completed following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election victory. The Congress, he said, is engaging in appeasement politics.

M.P. Renukacharya, a BJP legislator and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai's Political Secretary, claimed that "The Kashmir Files" should be dubbed in Kannada.

"We have previously addressed this," Renukacharya stated. "I've compiled the contact information for the film's director, Vivek Agnihotri. If he agrees to dubbing, we will collect funds and translate the film into Kannada "he continued.

"The Kashmir Files" is only available in Hindi and is currently being exhibited successfully throughout the country. If the film is created in Kannada, it will be easier for the people of Karnataka to see and understand, he explained.
