New Delhi: Registration for vaccine and booking slots will be easier now. The Union Health Ministry said on Monday that the CoWIN Portal will be available in Hindi and 14 regional languages by next week. For this, 17 more labs will be connected to the app to monitor COVID-19 formats. This information has been given by the Union Health Ministry.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry, it was announced during the 26th meeting of the High Level Cabinet Group (GoM) at Covid-19 on Monday under the leadership of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan. The Union Health Secretary informed the GoM that the Covin portal will be available in Hindi and 14 regional languages by next week. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan told the Cabinet that 17 new labs will be added to insacog network to increase sample testing.

The Indian SARS-COV2 Consortium on Genomics (INSACOG) is a group of 10 national labs spread across the country, established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on December 25, 2020. The task of this committee is to create a genome chain of corona viruses, to find a relationship between the forms of the genome and the epidemic.
