Patna: A big news is coming out from Bihar's Madhora, in which former MLA Surendra Sharma, who gave a contract to kill his own daughter, was arrested by the Patna Police. In addition to the MLA, four contract killers have also been arrested. Patna East SP Pramod Kumar said Surendra Sharma was arrested on Sunday after he paid Rs 20 lakh for 'honour killing.'
According to the information received, an attempt was made to kill his daughter on the intervening night of July 1-2. The woman, a resident of the Krishna Puri police station area, lodged a police complaint alleging that unidentified persons opened fire at her, though she avoided the target as she did not sit down properly. Subsequently, an intensive search operation was launched and on Saturday, the head of the gang, Abhishek alias Chhote Sarkar, was arrested along with his two accomplices. On Monday, former MLA Surendra Sharma was also arrested.
After the same arrest, the notorious shooter Abhishek alias Chhote Sarkar told the police about former MLA Surendra Sharma. The shooter said that we were given a contract by MLA Surendra Sharma to kill his own daughter. Surendra Sharma had completed the term of the Assembly in his native district Saran in the 1990s. He contested as an independent. However, Sharma has a criminal history in the past.
