Dehradun: Pushkar Singh Dhami will be sworn in as the 12th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand today. Eight ministers can also be sworn in. The state has got the first woman speaker in the form of Ritu Khanduri. PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda will be present on the occasion of the swearing-in ceremony.
Yogi Adityanath, CM of the country's largest state UP, has reached the dais. As soon as the Yogi reached the stage, Yogi-Yogi slogans started resonating in the entire parade ground. Several saints including Chidanand Muni, Acharya Balkrishna, Shankaracharya are also present at the swearing-in ceremony. Meanwhile, Pushkar Singh Dhami's cabinet list has come out. Satpal Maharaj, Subodh Uniyal, Dhan Singh Rawat, Ganesh Joshi, Chandan Ramdas, Rekha Arya, Prem Chand Agarwal and Saurabh Bahuguna will be the ministers.
Banshidhar Bhagat, Bishan Singh Chufal and Arvind Pandey have not received the call. In Uttarakhand, chairs have been installed for 25,000 visitors at the swearing-in ceremony of the new government. Tight security arrangements have been made as several Union Ministers including Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister and others attended the swearing-in ceremony.
