Today: Streaming service Netflix has introduced August 5 as the release date for The Little Prince and also revealed its official trailer. The flick, is based on Antoine de Saint-Exupery's 1943 novella, would be obtainable for streaming on Netflix beside with its release in a few select US theatres.

In the trailer, a blend of CG and Stop motion graphics, reminiscent of Antoine’s original art in her book.

The voice cast of the film includes Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Marion Cotillard, James Franco and Ricky Gervais.
