The time taken for taking the second dose of covichild vaccine in India has now been reduced from 4-8 weeks to 12-16 weeks. That means after taking the first dose of the vaccine, you will now have to wait for 12-16 weeks to take the second dose. In fact, this has been done to make people's immune systems stronger and the corona crisis equally low.
The same has now been confirmed by Andrew Pollard, the developer of the vaccine and head of the vaccine group at Oxford University. He believes that the longer the gap between taking both doses of the vaccine, the more people will benefit. In the interview, he said, the longer it takes between taking both doses of the vaccine, the stronger the body's immune system. He said taking the second dose of the vaccine in a gap of 3 months will greatly benefit the people. There may also be a wait of 4 months for more better results.
He said that the longer the second dose of the coweshild vaccine is taken, the stronger the immune system will be. Andrew Pollard's statement comes at a time when the country has recently been embroiled in controversy over the extension of time to take another dose of the vaccine. Many people are opposing the saying that the government has taken this decision due to lack of vaccine. However, the expert's claims are proving the allegations to be false.
