Mumbai: A mother was murdered in front of her daughter in Maharashtra's Ulhasnagar. The culprit, in a minor dispute, dragged the woman's head into the wall and she lost her life. After the murder, the criminal fled from the spot and the case was reported to the police. Taking the body into custody, the police sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
The incident took place at Chinchpara village under the Ulhasnagar Vitthalwadi police station area. Sukanya lived with her 17-year-old daughter and her husband died seven years ago. It is being said that Sukanya was identified with a man named Anil Bhatsode. They both wanted to get married. Anil often asks Sukanya for money. On March 12, the two had an argument over this, after which Anil hit Sukanya's head in the wall.
The same Sukanya's daughter saw all this with her own eyes that her mother was shouting loudly in the room and Anil was beating her mercilessly. Sukanya was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition but she succumbed to her injuries. After the murder, the criminal Anil fled from the spot. The daughter of the deceased woman has lodged a case of murder against the criminal Anil at the police station. Police have registered a case of murder against the criminal Anil Bhatsode and sent a team to search for the culprit. According to senior police inspector Sanjay Gaikwad, the deceased woman and Bhatsode had been in a live-in relationship for several years. But due to some reasons, the two were living separately for the last three months. The police have handed over the body to the family for post-mortem.
