Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan reviews the education sector at the camp office in Tadepalli and inquired about the situation in schools after coronavirus and containment measures. He clarified to the officials that the spirit of the 'Amma Vodi' scheme should continue and said that the main objective of the scheme is to educate the children.
He said that every high school should have a playground and directed the officials to prepare a plan by now. The CM suggested that steps be taken to issue work orders by December. The CM inspected the sports goods and gave some suggestions to the officials to provide sports clothes, sports friendly shoes to the children under Vidya Kanuka.
The CM said that the government has spent thousands of crores to complete the Nadu-Nedu works in over 15,000 schools in the first installment and hoped that the spirit of Amma Vodi would continue and all children would go to school. He said that steps should be taken to bring all schools affiliation to CBSE and children should be able to take CBSE exams by 2024.
