A meeting of intelligence agency officials and state police officials was also held in this regard. One of the 16 names was Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi. On Sunday evening, the Mortaza attacked two PAC jawans and injured them with a sharp weapon. He also tried to enter the temple by speaking Allah-hu-Akbar. However, he was caught by the security personnel. The state home department has termed it a terror attack based on the evidence received.

But the attack on April 3 made it clear that he was really in the process of committing a major incident. Journalist Pramod Kumar Singh said on Twitter that Abbasi had chosen gate number 3 of the Gorakhnath temple, which is used by CM Yogi Adityanath to commute.

His online activities have revealed that he used to watch videos related to jihad on YouTube and often search jihadi sites. In his search history, evidence of video searches of many jihadi-minded religious ulemas has also been found. Along with this, he also watched the videos of Lone Wolfe. His laptop mobile was also examined and some ISIS-related videos and his literature were recovered. Apart from all this, several fatwas and a map of Gorak Nath temple have been recovered from the mobile of Murtaza Abbasi. Murtaza used to find ways to attack alone on the net. He planned to spread panic by taking the lives of people with a small weapon. At present, the case is being investigated by the ATS and STF teams and Abbasi is in the custody of the police.
