New Delhi: Team India's champion allrounder Yuvraj Singh has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket today. Yuvraj Singh was the two times world champions of India (2007 in World T20 and 2011 in World Cup) teams and in both the contests he had given an impressive performance. Since 2017, he was not able to be selected in Team India.

The 37-year-old Yuvraj is said to want to make his career as a freelance cricketer in the Overseas T20 League recognized by the ICC. They are getting offers to play in the euro T20 slam in GT 20 (Canada), Ireland and Holland.  This stylish left-hander was last played for India in the T20 international match against England in February 2017.

Prior to that he had been involved in the Indian team on the Champions Trophy 2017 and followed by the West Indies tour. He played the final ODI of his career at Antigua against the West Indies on January 30, 2017.  Yuvraj recalled his cricketing career, saying, "his 25-year career and especially the 17-year international career saw many ups and downs. Now, I have decided to go ahead. This game taught me how to fight, to fall, then to get up and how to go ahead. '
