Thane: In a shocking incident, a man poured kerosene on his wife and two daughters and burnt them alive over a domestic dispute in Dombivli here. Due to this, the criminal himself was also scorched. After the incident, all of them were admitted to the hospital, where the woman and her two daughters died. The police have registered a case against the accused. The matter is being investigated.

According to the news received, Prasad Patil was living with his wife Preeti and two daughters in Bhopar area of Dombivli. It is alleged that Prasad used to harass his wife physically and mentally often. A fire broke out in Prasad's house on Saturday morning. Prasad, his wife Preeti and two daughters sustained burn injuries. After that, all of them were admitted to the hospital. On Sunday, Preeti died during treatment. At the same time, both daughters of Prasad also died on Monday morning.  

The Manpada police themselves were investigating the incident. Meanwhile, when the police got suspicious, Prasad was strictly questioned. Investigation revealed that Prasad had set his wife Preeti on fire due to a family dispute. After this incident, the criminal misled the police. He said the house was on fire. Both daughters of the criminal were burnt in the fire. At the same time, Prasad was also partially burnt. Police said Prasad had set Preeti on fire with the intention of killing her. Her daughters also caught fire and died. Manpada police have registered a case against Prasad Patil on the complaint of complainant Kishore Patil. Prasad is also undergoing treatment at the hospital.
