The man who proud nation at every step 'Abhinav Bindra' turns 36 today

A very well known retired professional shooter Abhinav Bindra will be going to celebrate his 36th birthday on 28th September. Bindra is a former World and Olympic champion in the 10 metre Air Rifle event. The shooter became the first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympic Games as at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, he won the gold in the 10 metre Air Rifle event.

Now serving as an Entrepreneur, Bindra made our nation proud at every step. Later in 2014, he associated with GoSports Foundation, Bangalore as a member of their board of advisors, along with working for this foundation, he launched the Abhinav Bindra Shooting Development Programme through which he provides support to India's up and coming talented shooters. Bindra also served as Goodwill Ambassador for Rio 2016 Olympic Games Indian Contingent in May 2016.

Although Abhinav Bindra proved that he is full of talents. The boy was born in Dehradun in the year 1982. At the age of 14, Bindra participated in the 1998 Commonwealth Games, making him the youngest participant. Also, one more achievement fell in the Bindra’s pocket in the year 2001 during Munich World Cup when he won bronze medal there. Recently, the talented man won a gold medal in the 10 metre air rifle event at the Asian Air Gun Championship on September 27, 2015.

So, after knowing all these facts about Abhinav Bindra, we are proud that we are having such a talented athlete. We wish a very happy birthday to Bindra !
