The impending Fantastic Four movie, which has been confirmed as a part of the studio's next phase and has been provisionally scheduled to debut in November 2024, is one of Marvel's most eagerly awaited projects. The film's casting has generated a lot of excitement, and fans have been waiting to find out who will play the main characters. Rachel Brosnahan, who starred in Marvelous Mrs Maisel, is one of those who is rumoured to be a part of it.
The actress is reportedly being considered for the role of Sue Storm, according to rumours. In response to the rumours, Brosnahan, who most recently attended the 2022 Global Citizen Festival on September 24 in New York City, confirmed whether she will soon be making her MCU debut. The actress revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, "I haven’t heard anything, unfortunately." When asked if she would be game to take on the superhero role, she added, "Absolutely! That would be a blast."
The actress talked openly about wrapping up production on the final season of her well-known show Marvelous Mrs Maisel, which had its fourth season broadcast earlier this year. In terms of the Fantastic Four casting, Brosnahan is competing against other well-known actors for the part, such as Emily Blunt and Jodie Comer.
Recently, it was confirmed during Disney's D23 Expo that Matt Shakman, who is also directing Star Trek 4, would be joining the project as director. Additionally, according to Deadline, the script for the movie has been written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
