The devices are simply disconnected. Despite all its financial and technical capabilities, Google does not seem to be able to release smartphones that have no problems. The problems with this or that degree of mass were with all generations of Pixel, although the latter seemed to have diminished their number.

And so, the new Pixel 3a and 3a XL came out and it turned out that they also have problems with them. On the Reddit forum, owners of these devices report that smartphones are shutting down for no apparent reason. This can happen at any time, but most of the time, smartphones are disconnected when they are inactive for some time. Turning the smartphone to life helps reboot.

One user has activated Safe Mode for testing, but the device is still disconnected as a result. So far, there are no clear assumptions about why the new Pixel can behave like that. Google has not yet commented on the situation.
