Unseasonal rains are expected in many areas of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Pune, Konkan. The coming 12 hours are being said to be very important for Maharashtra. At present, the temperature has dropped in many areas of Maharashtra. There are dark clouds in the sky at various places in the state. However, the weather is likely to remain dry in Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. The increased heat will continue in some areas of Vidarbha. A few days ago, the Meteorological Department had predicted heat wave in many districts including Vidarbha region. But for the last two days there has been a sudden drop in the temperature.

Even on Sunday, there were dark clouds in the sky in many areas of the state. There was light rain at some places. The mercury dropped by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in Aurangabad, Marathwada. There is a possibility of torrential rain at many places even today. The sky has remained cloudy since morning in Colaba and Santacruz areas of Mumbai, Nashik, Kolhapur, Parbhani and Pune districts. In such a situation, rain is expected in the coming few hours.
