Everyone is currently talking about the television program The Night Agent. It's hard to imagine that at one point actor Gabriel Basso, also known as Peter Sutherland from "The Night Agent," made his late-night television debut and discussed his decision to return to acting after taking a break for "7 or 8 years."

When Gabriel was just a teenager, he had his first notable parts in the Showtime series The Big C and the movie Super 8. The actor put in consistent employment up until the age of 18 when he chose to take a lengthy sabbatical of "7 or 8 years."

The actor is now fully operational again. One of the most popular shows ever on Netflix is The Night Agent. The Night Agent made the list of Netflix's Top 10 Most Popular English-Language TV Shows just three weeks after its March 23 premiere. Season 2 of the program has already been ordered.
During his break, Gabriel did not by any means lounge around. Gabriel's skills in archery, drawing, weightlifting, amateur fighting, drumming, the violin, welding, and more were mentioned by Jimmy Fallon. "I don't have a social life," the actor joked.

 “I think actors are really insulated from reality, and I think of all people actors should be the least insulated people because they’ve got to portray real things. And so everything sort of felt like a pseudo-experience to me,” Gabriel said about why he quit acting. “As a kid where [you’re told], oh, you can be the fighter, and not actually hit anybody or know what it’s like to get hit, it just felt very fake. So I quit because I didn’t want to be depressed… And now I’m back.”

"Sort of blown away by y'alls reception of the show and its not even the weekend yet haha just know that this was a massive group effort," Gabriel posted on Instagram a day after the concert's debut. Some folks may not be aware of how collaborative this medium is. From the top down, everyone did an outstanding job. I have fatherly pride. Oh right, I'll go back to the cellar.
