Bengaluru: With the death of 100 infections due to corona infection in Karnataka on Wednesday, the number of people who died due to infection has reached 2,804. Over 1.50 lakh people have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus so far in the state. According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, today 5,407 people have discharged from the hospital.

Of the 5,619 new cases of corona infection that surfaced on Wednesday, 1,848 are from the Bangalore Sadar District. According to the bulletin, so far 1,51,449 people have been confirmed to have corona infection in the state. Of these, 2,804 people have lost their lives while 74,679 people have been discharged from the hospital after getting corona infection free. Currently 73,958 people are being treated in the state.

Talking about corona infects in India, the total number of infected people on Thursday increased to 19,64,536 after 56,282 new cases of corona infection were revealed. At the same time, the number of people getting free from this infection increased to 13,28,336. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am, a total of 904 people died due to infection in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 40,699. 5,95,501 patients are being treated in the country, which is 30.31 percent of the total cases. According to the data, the death rate has come down to 2.07 percent. This has been the eighth consecutive day when more than 50,000 cases of corona infection have been reported.
