The oldest beer treasure found in Egyptian soil. Archaeologists in the US and Egypt have described an old beer factory found in the excavation as the oldest beer factory. It may be the oldest beer factory found at one of the most prominent archaeological sites in ancient Egypt. It has been learned that the General Secretary of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mustafa Waziri said that the factory was found in the ancient cemetery Abidos, west of the Nile River, 450 kilometers from southern Cairo. Whereon he stated that the factory is located in the territory of King Narmer, who is identified for the unification of ancient Egypt at the beginning of the first dynasty (3150 BCE to 2613 BCE).

40 pottery was also found: Waziri said that archaeologists have found 8 units. Each unit is 20 meters (about 65 feet) long, 2.5 meters (about eight feet) wide. About 40 earthen pots have been found in these, which were used for heating the mixture of grains and water for the production of beer.

The joint expedition was co-chaired by Matthew Adams of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York College, and Deborah Vischak, Assistant Professor of Ancient Egyptian History and Archeology at Princeton College. It is also being said that this factory would have been set up in these areas to carry out the royal rituals of beer. He said that archaeologists have found evidence showing the use of beer during sacrificial practices in ancient Egypt.

The Ministry of Antiquities said that British archaeologists first mentioned the existence of the factory in the early 1900s, but they could not find out where it existed.
