Madhepura: A shameful news is coming out from Madhepura, Bihar. In which the Panchs put the price of 51 thousand rupees on the self-respect of the victim while releasing those who tried to rape her without taking her into confidence. Not only this, the Panchs also forced the victim to sign the agreement. This matter has been covered in the news all over the region. On the other hand, the victim has opposed this decision of the Panchs. Actually, in a village of Madhepura, a person tried to rape the victim.  Taking a mutual decision on these matters, the Panches tried to cover up the matter by charging 51 thousand for the victim's honor.

The victim says that when the panchayat sat, she was not even called. He was forcibly made to sign the agreement. She wanted to file a case with the police. According to the victim, on April 17, she was sleeping alone in her house. The criminal Shyamal Mandal came and tried to rape him. He made a noise at this. Then two or three policemen from the camp along with the surrounding people also reached there.  The victim informed about the matter to all of them. But some people present there pacified the matter to save the criminal and said that we will see in the morning.

Thereafter, a Panchayat was held on 20th April at the door of Babulal Sharma near his own house under the chairmanship of Sarpanch Manoj Kumar Singh regarding the incident. Where other dignitaries including the chief were present. According to the victim, she was not called during the panchayat. It was in his absence that the decision was taken by the Panchayat. After that he was forcibly made to sign it. The Panches told the victim that she would get 51 thousand rupees, should she forget the incident. The offender will not commit such a mistake again. The woman also said that even a few days ago, the criminal had done such an act. At that time only he was reprimanded. But once again he did the wrong thing.
