Corona has wreaked havoc everywhere, PM Principal Scientist Prof K. VijayRaghavan said on Thursday that the current wave of coronavirus is likely to occur at the end of peak month. In an interview, the professor said that there is not one, but many reasons behind the widespread proliferation of corona that are being seen at the moment.
On Thursday, India recorded 3,14,835 new corona cases, the highest number of infected individuals in a single day. In the last 24 hours, the death toll from the epidemic has been recorded at 2,104. Considering the steady increase in numbers, Prof. Vijayaraghavan said, "We are actually seeing a large number of cases and this is a cause for great concern, but according to research, the corona is expected to reach peak hours and return to normal around 12". It takes a period of weeks and we have to look at the time of this 12 weeks.
He said that if we look at the peak wave of Corona as before, then we should start to see a decline in the number of infected people by the beginning of next month or by the end of this month. He said that in the meantime, keeping in mind the new variants given here, measures will have to be taken to focus on every aspect of healthcare like Strains and Large Scale Vaccination, Social Duri Therefore, the focus should be on what we can do right now in the present.
