New Delhi: Rain in the country's capital Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab for the last 2-3 days has stopped today (Monday) i.e. 10 January 2022. But after the rains in these north Indian states, the winter has now increased. Like Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are experiencing severe snowfall. Heavy snowfall has made the national highway like an icy desert.

 

In Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, cold wave conditions have been created with snowfall. According to the Met department (IMD), many parts of Uttar Pradesh will continue to receive rain today (Monday) i.e. January 10. The Met department in its forecast has predicted that cold wave conditions may return to most states of north India till Makar Sankranti.

 

Like Kashmir, uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh have also stopped traffic at some places amid heavy snow in hilly areas due to snowfall. Houses are covered in snow, everything has frozen. Snow has also reached the feet of Lord Vishnu in Badrinath, one of the major pilgrimages of char-dham. Snow is the only ice around the dham.
