The thrill of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season has now reached its final stage. The winner of this season will be available on Sunday (May 29th). On the same day, the final between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This is the 15th season of the IPL. The tournament began in 2008. The first season was won by Rajasthan Royals and they will be playing their second final this time. Since then, there have been many changes. Many legendary players have retired, so many have not gotten the opportunity.

Some of the players including Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have been playing since the first season, but they have not been able to get a place in the final. This time there will be a clash between Gujarat and Rajasthan. The only player in the squad these two is Wriddhiman Saha, who has been playing since 2008. This wicket-keeper batsman is opening for the Gujarat team. Saha is in excellent form this season. Saha has scored only one century in his IPL career and it was scored in the final. Saha is also the first player to score a century in an IPL final. He played for the Punjab team in the 2014 final against Kolkata Knight Riders. Saha then played an unbeaten 115-running. However, the Punjab team could not win this final. Now the fans are hoping that Saha will score a century again and this time he will give his team a victory.

Overall players who scored centuries in the playoffs:-

Virender Sehwag (Punjab team) - 122 runs - Qualifier-2 against Chennai, (2014)

Shane Watson (Chennai team) - 117* runs - final against Hyderabad, (2018)

Wriddhiman Saha (Punjab team) - 115* runs - final against Kolkata, (2014)

Murali Vijay (Chennai team) - 113 runs - Qualifier-2 against Delhi, (2012)

Rajat Patidar (Bengaluru team) - 112* runs - Eliminator against Lucknow, (2022)
