Gwalior: An incident of assault on a pregnant rape victim has come to light in Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh. It is being said that the victim was going to the court to testify in the rape case. On the way, the rape criminal, along with 4 accomplices, stopped her on the way. He put pressure on the woman to resign. When she did not agree, she beat him up and threatened to kill him.
According to the police, the victim had lodged an FIR of rape at Bahodapur police station. The case is being heard in the district court. When the woman was going to court for the hearing, she was stopped by the criminals near Jhansi Road. Then he kicked and hit with a belt. The victim's stomach was also kicked several times.
Police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim. Police said the victim is a resident of Shivpuri. According to the complaint, the woman was raped six months ago after which she became pregnant. The woman has accused a man named Avesh Dhakad of rape. The case is currently being heard in court. Now, jhansi road police station has registered a case against the culprit for the assault. Town Inspector Sanjeev Nayan Sharma said that the culprits are absconding from the spot. But their search continues. They will be arrested soon.
