Despite this, now on Monday, the dead body of priest Ram Shankar Das has been found hanging inside the temple. 

Video before death went viral: Before death, the priest recorded a Facebook live video of suicide for 2 minutes 50 seconds. It is not even known who stopped this video. Police have also found many other videos in the priest's mobile, in one video he is heard saying that Dadhibal Tiwari, Jai Govind Pandit, Devram Das Vedanti, Krishna Kumar Pandey, Kiran Singh, whoever wants a temple, come and take it. You bombed us, we didn't die, you made our teacher disappear and now you women are filing false cases against us. Now I am going to commit suicide, whoever wants to take the temple, come and take it. 

Priest Ram Shankar Das is facing financial crisis after the disappearance of Mahant. Meanwhile, he has tried several times to sell some of the temple items, but the police stationed outside the temple and the Raiganj Chowki police did not allow him to do so. After which he created ruckus in Ayodhya Kotwali by being naked and also threatened to commit suicide. The deceased priest was also angry with the action of the police for threatening some people with the intention of taking possession of the registered temple property.
