Seoul: South Korean automaker Kia Motors has unveiled the production-specific design of the EV9 SUV. Sales should begin by early 2024. The car features a futuristic design and a spacious interior with three rows of seats being its highlights. It is powered by an electric drivetrain with power output and range information as of now unknown.

In 2021, the Kia EV9 concept car was unveiled. It is one of the 15 EVs that the brand has promised by 2027 and is built on the e-GMP platform. As the first electric-powered model in the mid-size, three-row SUV segment, it should garner a lot of interest from buyers. We hope to see it there as well.

The Kia EV9 features swept-back headlamps with S-shaped DRLs, a flat bonnet and a smaller grille. Roof rails, blackened pillars, ORVMs, flared wheel arches and fashionable 19/20/21-inch wheels frame the sides of the vehicle.

The rear of the vehicle features a shark-fin antenna, a raked windscreen, wrap-around taillamps, and a spoiler that juts out from the roofline.

One or two electric motors connected to a large battery pack and all-wheel drive power the Kia EV9. The four-wheeler should have a range of around 480 kilometers on a single charge.

The Kia EV9 features a three-row, 6 or 7-seat interior with reclining second-row seats, a two-tone dashboard, a massive center console, and a multifunctional steering wheel with two spokes.

It features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment panel on either side of a 5.0-inch display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Each of the three is protected by a single piece of glass. You can fold the second and third rows.
