Pune Zilla Parishad employees take major step to improve health services in rural areas

Pune: Pune Zilla Parishad employees have helped improve health services in rural areas of the district amid the April 20 Covid-19 epidemic. In this help, they have contributed Rs 1.97 crore as their one-day salary. An official has informed about this.

G Darsal Pune Zilla Parishad CEO Ayush Prasad told PTI last Monday about the same. He said, "This money will be given as an incentive to doctors serving Covid-19 patients". He has also said, "Zilla Parishad employees here in Maharashtra, all of whom are front employees, have donated their one day's salary. The total amount has been Rs 1.97 crore".

At the same time, the official says, " They have published advertisements in newspapers in various states to appoint 130 doctors. Our aim is to have the best doctors with us in the fight against Covid-19 and save the lives of people living in the rural areas of Pune'.'
