passing by a market place does the amazingly tempting Aloo Tikki not fill your mouth with water. thinking about the various threats it offers to you in terms of hygiene and cleanliness, you walk past it with a heavy heart. After all "health is wealth". 

Well, why not enjoy the delicious Aloo Tikki at home, totally assured of hygiene and cleanliness.

 

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED -3 large potatoes (boil, peel then mash)

-A cup frozen peas (uncooked)

-2/3 large onion, chopped -1 jalapeno pepper, minced

-1 teaspoon chilli powder

-2 teaspoon garam masala

-1 teaspoon of cumin powder

-1 teaspoon of grated ginger

-A handful of fresh and chopped parsley or cilantro leaves

-2 tablespoon of breadcrumbs

-4 tablespoons of flour

PREPARATION: -Boil, peel then mash the potatoes -When the potatoes have been mashed, add all ingredients to it.

-shape it into round and flat patties.

-Heat little amont of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

-now fry the patties for a few minutes on each side until it turns to golden brown color.

-soak it in a tissue Paper to absorb all the excess oil.

-you can also prepare a dip or simply serve with any of the sauce you would prefer out of all those available in the market.
