Farhan Akhtar has announced the release date of his much awaited and inspiring sports drama movie 'Toofan'. Farhan today informed that he is going to release her movie on Amazon Prime Video on July 16. The movie stars Mrinal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Kapoor, Hussain Dalal, Dr. Farhan Akhtar will be seen in the lead roles along with Mohan Agashe, Darshan Kumar and Vijay Raj.
Farhan took to Instagram today to report the release date of the movie and wrote, "Our film 'Toofan' will release on July 16 with humility, love and dedication to the spirit of the fight of the beautiful people of the country. #??? OnPrime. After reading this post, Hrithik Roshan Hritik Roshan) commented, "Can't wait for it."
Earlier we saw Farhan in Omprakash Mehra's sports drama movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which proved to be a huge hit. Now once again the two have come together to entertain the audience. The story of 'Storm' is the life of Ajju, an orphan boy born in Mumbai's Dongri region, who grows up to be a goon in the local area. A sharp-minded, shokh and soft-hearted girl changes her life after meeting Ananya. Ananya's faith in Ajju inspires her to explore her passion and she embarks on her journey to becoming boxing champion Aziz Ali.
According to media reports, the world premiere is scheduled to begin on July 16 on 'Toofan' Amazon Prime Video directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and produced by Excel Entertainment (Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar) and ROMP Pictures (Rakesh Omprakash Mehra).
