Bharti Airtel lost 4.89 lakh users in October alone, while Vodafone Idea lost 9.64 lakh subscribers. In October, Bharti Airtel, the country's second-biggest telecom provider, lost 4.89 lakh customers, bringing its total subscriber base to 35.39 million. Airtel had previously added 2.74 lakh, mobile customers, in September.

Reliance Jio's mobile subscriber base increased to 42.65 million in October, according to the latest TRAI figures. In September, the number of users dropped to 19 million. In October, Vodafone Idea lost 9.64 lakh mobile users, bringing its total subscriber base to 26.90 million. The company's 10.77 lakh clients were decreased earlier in September as well.

By the end of October 2021, India's total number of telephone customers had risen to 118.96 million, representing a monthly increase of 0.04 percent. According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the number of urban telephone customers fell to 65.88 crores at the end of October 2021. In the same month, the number of rural users climbed to 53.07 crore. By the end of October 2021, the total number of broadband subscribers had increased to 79.8 crore.

According to the report, Reliance Jio Infocomm (426 million customers), Bharti Airtel (204 million users), Vodafone Idea (122 million users), BSNL (190 million users), and Tikona Infinet were the top five wireless broadband service providers as of 31 October 2021. ( 3 lakh users).
