Ranchi: A road is being constructed in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district spending about Rs 77 lakh under the Mukhyamantri Gramin Sadak Yojana. The villagers claim that this road has been constructed after 22 years. However, within 20 days the road started to crumble. Due to this anger spread among the villagers. Local people say that due to the uprooting of the road, dust started flying here. Due to this the life of the people living here became difficult. The villagers also started protesting.  

The villagers allege that many irregularities have been done in the construction of this road. Due to this road was uprooted in just 20 days. On the other hand, Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Sinha has assured to investigate and take action. According to the information, this road is to be made 900 meters, which has been built only till about 600 meters and further construction work is going on. While giving information on this matter, the head of Kuju village, Jai Kumar Ojha has told that after a long gap of 22 years, the construction work of this road has started with great difficulty. But the material used in the construction of the road is of very poor quality. 

Jai Kumar Ojha further said that due to the substandard material, the new road started to crumble within 20 days. Deputy Development Commissioner Narendra Kumar Sinha said that he has received a complaint about the uprooting of the road. It is being investigated, strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this.
