Bengaluru: A shocking incident has come to light in Belagavi, Karnataka, where a saint suffered a heart attack while delivering a discourse at the function and died on stage. The incident took place on 6th November, but now the video has surfaced. The same video clearly shows Sant Sangana Basava Swami addressing his followers in Besgaon in Karnataka and suddenly fainted while speaking on stage.
Thereafter, he was rushed to the hospital, but the doctors said that he had died of a heart attack and the doctors declared him brought dead. Sangana Baswa Swami, 53, was the chief saint of the Balobala Monastery and also head of the Basavayoga Mandapa Trust. November 6 was his birthday and addressing his followers at his monastery. He suddenly collapsed due to the address and later lost his life.
Last month, a similar case was reported in Rajasthan where a leader died after delivering a speech on the dais during campaigning for the bypoll. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot was also present on the dais at the function. On October 26, the Youth Congress leader suffered a heart attack after delivering a speech, causing him to fall on the dais. He died on the way to the hospital by the time he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had condoled the death of the Congress leader and paid homage.
