The Samsung Galaxy S23 Series will debut first week of February

New Delhi: For quite some time now, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series has been the subject of several leaks and rumours. It was earlier predicted that the South Korean tech giant will unveil its non-foldable flagship series at CES 2023.

The eagerly anticipated flagship series could be unveiled as early as February at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event held in the US, according to a recent report citing a company executive.

The occasion may mark the first Unpacked in person since the pandemic. Along with the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra models, the new lineup is expected to include the standard Samsung Galaxy S23 model.

According to an article in Korean newspaper Koreajonggangdaily, Samsung will hold its Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event in the US during the first week of February.

The article quoted a Samsung Electronics executive as saying that the Galaxy S23 series will be unveiled on the occasion. The launch event, which is rumored to take place in San Francisco, will be the first live Unpacked since the pandemic.

Samsung is yet to confirm the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event, but the new leak is in line with earlier schedule rumours. As per earlier reports, the Galaxy S23 series will be unveiled on January 5 at CES 2023 in Las Vegas.

Samsung hasn't formally confirmed any information about the Galaxy S23 series yet, but the design and specifications of the upcoming phones have been widely rumored over the past few months. The upcoming smartphone is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon flagship.

According to a recent Geekbench listing, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset is reportedly present on the upcoming Galaxy S23, Galaxy 23+, and Galaxy 23 Ultra models.

The 3,900mAh battery on the stock Samsung Galaxy S23 is said to support 25W fast charging. It may feature a 6.1-inch screen with full-HD+ resolution.

The quad rear camera system on the Galaxy 23 Ultra is expected to be powered by a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor.
